FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

We'll start by meeting over coffee to get acquainted and make sure we're in sync on the approach to shoot your wedding. I'll then create a shot list of the basic "have to have" images but of course, the artistic side will mostly be unplanned and spontaneous. We'll agree on how the day will flow and I try and visit the venue before the wedding so I can understand the lighting, special areas for shooting and know of any restrictions/challenges. Also, on full day and some half day weddings I'll have a second shooter to make sure we capture all aspects of your day.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm in Atlanta, GA and only shoot local weddings or within 1-2 hour drive.

When will we get our photos?

For weddings, post processing is usually 2-3 weeks and where I really like to take the time necessary to sift through all the photos, create artistic aspects and deliver you the highest quality images possible. Portrait sessions usually take 1 week. I'll provide a link for you to preview and download the finished images.

How many pictures will we receive?

For a full day wedding, you will receive between 250-300 fully edited images. For a 1/2 day wedding, 150-250 fully edited images. For portrait sessions, you will receive 50-100 fully edited images. All images will be high-resolution JPEG digital images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and most significant images that tell your story. My creative and artistic approach will include my selection of a variety of color, black & white, and other artistic filters/cropping.
